About Us
At Bizzybodies we believe that fitness is not
merely about being able to execute a set of exercises in class or
at the gym, how much you can or can't lift, how fast or far you
can or can't run. Fitness is being able to function better and more
efficiently on a daily basis in your everyday life.
With this is mind, Andrea constructs and plans
all her classes with one clear objective in view: the fact that
a good exercise regime must be genuinely "functional".
This means that taking regular exercise will not only improve your
health, preventing illness and serious injury, it will also make
a real impact on your quality of life, improving your ability to
perform everyday tasks and deal with "the stresses of modern
living". You can read more about how Andrea incorporates this
view into her class structures by reading the articles, and the
sections specific to each class type also posted here on the site.

“I have suffered problems with
my back for years and have been unable to take part in any form
of exercise classes for any length of time which didn't leave me
in pain and feeling quite worthless. Since discovering Bizzybodies
and taking part in Pilates classes for the past six weeks I have
felt fitter, more toned and able to deal with the exercises without
the discomfort experienced in the past.” Angela Johnson
“A Pilates class with Andrea at Bizzybodies
is an oasis of tranquility. She conducts the session with a calming
efficiency, ensuring everyone understands how and why they are performing
each movement. She has shown me nothing but kind attention and encouragement
since I joined last September and I would have no hesitation in
recommending her classes.” Elizabeth Fearon
“As one of the "older" students who decided
to take up Pilates fairly recently, I cannot stress enough that
you are NEVER too old to start something new, and the benefits in
terms of your health and sense of well-being are enormous on both
the physical and mental planes. I even feel taller!!” Gill
